Who We Are
Brightwater Heating & Air is an owner-led HVAC company serving Huntington Beach and the surrounding coastal communities of Orange County. Founded in 2023, we were built around a simple idea: homeowners deserve honest quotes, transparent recommendations, and a team that actually shows up when it says it will.
The Brightwater Story
Brightwater was founded in 2023 on a pattern we kept seeing across the industry: companies were quick to recommend a full system replacement when a thoughtful repair would have served the customer better. Service felt rushed. Quotes weren’t always clear. And the person writing the estimate often wasn’t the person doing the work.
Brightwater Heating & Air was built to do it differently. The pitch is straightforward: the quotes are honest, the owner supervises the work, and the recommendation is whatever’s genuinely best for your home and your budget, not whatever drives the biggest invoice.
What Makes Brightwater Different
A lot of HVAC companies are oriented around replacement. It’s faster, it’s more profitable, and it gets the technician on to the next call. We’re built differently.
When a Brightwater technician shows up to a service call, the first instinct is to troubleshoot. A failing capacitor doesn’t always mean a failing system. A poorly performing AC isn’t always a candidate for a full upgrade. When repair is the right call, that’s the recommendation you’ll get. Meet Sean
Sean is the owner and lead technician at Brightwater Heating & Air. He’s been working in HVAC since 2006 and is a born-and-raised Southern Californian, which means he knows the homes here. Coastal Orange County has its own quirks: salt air that’s hard on outdoor equipment, humidity loads that shift with the marine layer, and older beachfront homes that weren’t always built with modern HVAC in mind. Two decades of working in this region means he knows how to spec and service systems for the environment they actually live in.
When he’s not on a job, Sean spends his time with his rescue animals and volunteers with German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC), a local nonprofit dedicated to rescuing and rehoming German Shepherds across the OC. Supporting local rescue work is part of what being a community-based business looks like to us.
